I also saw my first robin in my front yard, so I think spring is finally here. Now if we only get a summer to follow it instead of the cool, cloudy summer of last year, I think there will be a few happy citizens enjoying the Whitehorse hiking areas.

First Crocus of Spring 2013 - May 8, 2013
I saw my first crocus today on my hike. I was surprised as I normally see dandelions before the crocus, but it was blossoming in all its glory, with a number of fuzzy buds just waiting to join it. There are more pussy willows popping as well.
I also saw my first robin in my front yard, so I think spring is finally here. Now if we only get a summer to follow it instead of the cool, cloudy summer of last year, I think there will be a few happy citizens enjoying the Whitehorse hiking areas.
